Estepona Golf
Estepona Golf is one of the premier golf clubs situated
among the foothills of the Sierra Bermeja, in a part
of the Costa del Sol still unspoiled by development.
The golf course is very natural and scenic, and there
is often a chance to see eagles and vultures coursing
overhead against the backdrop of the mountains and the
sea. The design is the greatest asset of the course
- designed to challenge players of all levels, yet not
to penalize the holiday golfer. The fairways are therefore
wide, but the true pride of Estepona Golf is its greens.
The Express, Britian,s second biggest selling tabloid
newspaper, describes Estepona Golf as a masterpiece
and as the fastest rising course on the Coast.

Bonmont Terres Noves Golf & Country Club
The 18-hole golf course of Golf de Bonmont Terres Noves
built in 1990 is another masterpiece of Robert Trent
Jones Jr. On a 72-hectare/178-acre site he created a
course with a highly technical and strategic layout
where players can test their skills and techniques.
He modeled the rocky terrain to make it suitable for
a golf course, which shows his unmistakable signature.
Numerous bunkers, an even spread of hazards, very large
and well-designed greens, some of which are tiered,
make for a good game. The course's terrain is quite
hilly and you will be well advised to take a buggy.
Other amenities include swimming pool, tennis courts
and conference rooms. Additional training facilities
such as putting green, pitching & putting green,
chipping green and Golf school are available.

Canyamel, Golf Club
Canyamel offers a very sporting course with two faces,
embedded in the wide valley of Canyamel, close to the
Mediterranean. The 18-hole golf course was build in
1989 and designed by Jose Gancedo, is one of the most
demanding courses on this island, with great facilities
and where there is always a refreshing breeze. The first
nine holes are on hilly terrain with many slopes. From
the 5th hole you enjoy marvelous views. The flat 6th
hole can't be seen from the tee. A special challenge
offers the 7th, a par 5 of 487 metres/533 yards, a dogleg
left, across a stone wall and not less than 6 bunkers
and several trees. Playing safe may lead to better results.
Well-thought out shots are necessary to negotiate some
tricky approaches to elevated, multi-tiered and well-defended
greens. The fair length of the course and the enjoyment
of low scores will surely want you to return to Canyamel.

Herrerνa, Club de Golf
The club is sited close to the monastery of San Lorenzo
de El Escorial, which overlooks the course. The 18-hole
golf course, built in 1968, is one of Spain's few public
courses in the Madrid region. Trees and bunkers are
the main hazards, strategically placed on the landing
zone and guarding the well-contoured greens. The difficulties
of this course can be well calculated. The 2nd hole,
a complicated par 5 poses the first challenge. On the
second half you will enjoy magnificent views at the
12th, 13th and 14th hole. The round ends with one of
the best par 4 in Spain. Other amenities include tennis
courts and swimming pool.
