On Christmas Day, hymns and carols are sung. People gather in churches,
which is decorated with the usual Christmas tree Yelka, flowers
and coloured lights. Christmas dinner includes a variety of different
meats, goose and pork are the favourites. Baboushka, or also
known as santa clause is a traditional Christmas figure who distributes
presents to children.
