Central News Agency
The Central News Agency (CNA) is a full service international
news agency with the longest history among Chinese media
organizations. Since its founding in Canton, China,
on April 1, 1924, and its relocation to Taipei, Taiwan,
in 1949, CNA has earned a reputation as a modern and
independent wire service. Today, CNA is the only nationwide
news agency serving the Republic of China on Taiwan
and overseas Chinese media around the world.
