The Flag

It was confirmed at December, 11th, 2001 by decision N307 of oblast' council. There is rectangular square with ratio 2:3. There are three vertical stripes with attitude 1:3:1 - yellow, blue and yellow. There is oblast' emblem in the centre of the blue stripe.

It is confirmed at December, 11th, 2001 by decision N307 of oblast' council. In a vert field are recrossed argent sabre with or handle and argent feather. Above it is poened argent book with or book-cover. In the gules chief is or patty cross. The emblem adorned by or decorative cartouche and crowned by or Tryzyb. The widht/height ratio is 83:102, bottom/upper parts ratio is 28:74. Argent cross means Volyn', vert colour means Polissya land, book means the Peresopnyts'ke Gospel, sabre is sign of independance struggle, feather means education.
