Kehli
This pricey but laid-back, sepia-toned neighborhood tavern
is on a hard-to-find street near the Óbuda end of the Árpád
Bridge. The food is hearty and heavy, just the way legendary
Hungarian writer and voracious eater Gyula Krúdy (to whom
the restaurant is dedicated) liked it when he lived in the
neighborhood.
Select from appetizers, such as hot bone marrow with garlic
toast, before moving on to fried goose livers with mashed
potatoes or turkey breast stuffed with cheese and goose liver.
