34th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival
Karlovy Vary, 2-10 July, 2000
The town of Karlovy Vary, only a little more than 60 miles west
of Prague on the Czech-German border, began to attract the attention
of the international filmgoing. The Festival also lures hundreds
of foreign guests, journalists, film critics, international film-club
members, and brings greater numbers of foreign television, every
