Malbork is the largest medieval castle in Europe. It was
built in 1276-1309 as the seat of the Great Master of the
Teutonic Order and it played this role until 1457 when it
fell under the rule of Poland. Inside the castle are two
museums, museum of amber and museum of old weapons. Both
are worth visiting. The museums are closed on Mondays, but
you can still visit the castle.
