In 1984 a new museum complex was opened near the Royal
Square. In this complex, the collection of modern masters
of the Museum of the Fine Arts is now housed. The entrance,
situated in a neo-classical building at Place Royal, leads
to the underground museum, built around a central light
well, where the displays are arranged in chronological order,
from level -4 to level -8.
Opening hours are from 10am till 1pm and from 2pm till
5pm (closed on Mondays and public holidays).
