It is a state-level heritage because of the
330-stone sculptures dating to Tang and Song times and some
mostly to the Yuan Dynasty. Of all the sculptures perhaps
the best known is the smiling Maitreya Buddha with loosed
robe exposing his pot belly - a work of art from the Song
Dynasty. It look so vivid, so lovely and so happy that hardly
any visitor will leave without posing for a picture with
it.
