Little Rock, the capital city of Arkansas is the state's transportation,
economic and cultural hub. Home to one of the nation's largest
private investment firms off Wall Street and other significant
industries, the city also boasts an active historic preservation
group centered around the Quapaw Quarters district.

If you enjoy a classic taste, the Old State House, now
an Arkansas history museum is here to cater your needs.
It was the state's original capitol building from 1836 until
1911. Also, the site of many significant historic events,
you'll sure amaze with it.
Visit the Jacksonport State Park for more excitement as
during the Civil War, Jacksonport was occupied by both Confederate
and Union armies due to its strategic position accessible
to the Mississippi and Arkansas rivers.
Getting There and Moving Around
By air
The Little Rock National Airport (LIT) at Adams Field is
located approximately five miles from the downtown area
which serves inbound and outbound domestic and international
flights including eight national/international gateway cities
(Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas, Houston,
Memphis and St. Louis).
By road
There are city bus services available from town to town
and also taxi services provided here. However, if you want
to be more flexible, there are also car rental services
available.
Moving Around
Though, the transport link here is not as complex as the
one in the bigger city; it does not stop the visitors from
visiting this fascinating great spot.
