A new exhibition on historical British sea voyages, 'Voyages
of Discovery', opens on 4 July at the Natural History Museum.
Exploring the drama of voyages, the voyagers themselves
and extraordinary places, animals, plants and people they
encountered in distant lands, this exhibition is the first
of its kind to be staged at the museum. The exhibition will
be open until spring 2000.
