Zemaitija National Park was founded in 1991. It is in the
north western part of Lithuania, about 45 km to east from
the Baltic sea. The area makes up 20 thousand of hectares,
forests cover about 9800 hectares, waters,1860 hectares,
and wetlands,960.While valleys, bushes, cultivated soil
make up the rest ofthe area.
