Heraldry:
It was confirmed on the 6th of September, 2001. It represents a
rectangular panel about a ratio of the parties 1.5:1. In a blue
field is yellow patty cross in the upper part and there is white
eight-pointed star under it.

argent eight-pointed star in base.

Heraldry:
It is known since 1575 when king Stephan Batori granted a status
of a regimental town to it.According to other souces the town
appeared in 1530 when it was given the Magdeburg Right and an
emblem - in an azure field there was an or patty cross in the
upper part and in base there was an argent eight-pointed star.
