Heraldry :
In November 13 1991 the session of the town council approved the
gonfalon: a Sqare canvas, in the green field there is or
triple-felled Gutsul church. In the top and in the bottom the
gonfalon is framed by the yellow edging. Width of the edging is
1/10 of width of the gonfalon.

Heraldry :
On the 13th of November 1991 town council session has confirmed a
modern CoA: in a vert field there is an or triple-felling church.
The Hutsul church symbolizes Kosiv as a historical and spiritual
center of the region. The vert color symbolizes Carpathian woods
among which the town is situated.

Heraldry :
City in Ivano Frankyivsk Oblast. For the first time it was
mentioned in 1424 in a deed of prince Svydrygailo. The historical
emblem of Kosiv is a seal with a triple-felling wooden Hutsul
church.
