The Gonfalon

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"In September 26, 1991 the session of the town council approved a gonfalon: a rectangular canvas with a ratio of the sides: 1:1. The gonfalon is horizontal divided into two parts – width of white top part is 3/4 of width of the gonfalon and width of green bottom part is 1/4 of width of the gonfalon. In the top part there are three green firs, a tree in the middle is higher than lateral."

"On the 26th of September 1991 city council session confirmed a modern CoA: in the argent field on the vert land there are three fir-trees. The central fir-tree is the highest, the two ones are of the same height. The CoA symbolizes the situation of the village among forests."

"City in Lviv Oblast. The first mention refers to 1440. From the documents of 1859 the picture of the seal has three fir-trees. The central one is the highest, two other are lower."
