Presentation of the municipality

The municipality of Solcava was formed in 1998 from parts of the municipality of Luce, which had seceded from Mozirje in 1995.

Description of the flag

The symbols were designed by Valt Jurecic of Heraldika d.o.o. and Heraldica Slovenica, who kindly provided drawings from which the images shown on this page were made.

The flag is rectangular in ratio 2:5, green with a thin white stripe dividing it in two parts, the field at hoist being square and containing the attribute from the coat of arms, the three edelweiss flowers proper

The coat of arms can be blazoned as:

Azure on a mount vert issuant from a stony basement a church argent roofed gules and in base three edelweisses proper two and one.
