Description of the flag

The coat of arms and flags of Mirna Pec are prescribed by Decision Odlok o grbu in zastavi Obcine Mirna Pec, adopted on 15 May 2000 and published in the official Slovene gazette Uradni list Republike Slovenije, 47/2000.

The flag is rectangular in ratio 2:5, vertically divided in three green-yellow-blue fielsd, the middle one being square and charged with the three red bees from the coat of arms.

The flag and the coat of arms can be seen on the website of the youth society Drustvo podezelske mladine Mirna Pec.

The coat of arms of Mirna Pec is diagonally tierced in bend sinister in green, golden and blue with three red bees overall. Three bees are said to represent the working people of the three valleys that constitute the community.
