Presentation of the municipality

The municipality of Jezersko (Slovenian jezero means 'lake') is located high in the Kamnik Alps on the source of Kokra river that drains into Sava in Kranj.

The peak shown in the coat of arms is probably the 2558 m high Grintavec, the highest peak of Kamnik and Savinja Alps range. The sheep head probably symbolizes the main traditional production of the region
