Description of the flag

The flag and arms are prescribed by decision Odlok o grbu in zastavi Obcine Hoce-Slivnica, adopted on 26 July 200o, and published in the official local gazette Medopcinski uradni vestnik Gorenjske in Stajerske regije, 180/2000, nr. 12/2000.

The municipal symbols were designed by Valt Jurecic of Heraldika d.o.o. and Heraldica Slovenica, who kindly provided drawings from which the images shown on this page were made.

The flag is rectangular in ratio 2:5. It is yellow with a green square field in the middle with the semi-wheel and branch from the coat of arms. The adoption date might be quoted as "about 1998".
