Presentation of the municipality

The municipality of Videm was formed in 1995 by secession from Ptuj.

Zeljko Heimer, 19 October 2002

Description of the flag

The flag and arms of Videm are prescribed by the amendments of the municipal status Spremembe in dopolnitve statuta Obcine Videm, adopted on 18 February 1997 and published in the official Slovene gazette Uradni list Republike Slovenije, 23/1997.

The symbols were designed by Valt Jurecic of Heraldika d.o.o. and Heraldica Slovenica, who kindly provided drawings from which the images shown on this page were made.

The flag is horizontal in ratio 2:5, green with a square panel in the middle containing the bridge from the coat of arms.
