Presentation of the municipality

The municipality of Sencur was formed in 1995. The language assimilation process resulted in change of "Sent+jur" to "Sencur" ( St. George),

The symbols of the municipality are prescribed by decision Odlok o simbolih in obcinskem prazniku Obcine Sencur, adopted on 23 January 1996, and published in the official local gazette Uradni vestnik Gorenjske, 5/1996.

The coat of arms is shown on the municipal website.
