The municipality is well known by the mineral water sources and spa. It is so well known that the name of the mineral water (adjective form of the community name - Radenska) was a general usual name for mineral water probably in the whole former Yugoslavia. The symbol of the mineral water are three red hearts, but that commercial symbol was not used in the municipal symbols.

The coat of arms and the flag are prescribed by decision Odlok
o grbu in zastavi Obcine Radenci, adopted on 10 May 1997, signed
on 13 May, and published in the official Slovene gazette Uradni
list Republike Slovenije, nr. 31, 30 May 1997, pp. 2818-20, with
effect on 13 June 1997.
Unfortunately, the Decision in the official gazette is not
accompanied with drawings. My translation from the Decision follows:
Article10.
The flag of the Municipality of Radenci is yellow and green, with the
coat of arms axially set in both fields. The ratio of the height
V against length L (V:L) is 1:2, so that the
flag field is divided into yellow upper and green lower field, so
that each of the two is 50% of total flag width.[...] In case of
horizontal hoisting, the flag is made so that it is turned
rectangularly on the horizontal line.

Article 6.
The coat of arms of the municipality is in shape of shield with
semicircular lower part.
Description: the outline is silver, the field divided vertically in
green and yellow fields.
In the vertical axis are set three shapes representing sources of
mineral water and hills. The shapes are in lower part in rectangular
shape, which in top are ended with semicircular arc turned downwards
and outwards.
The lowest (most forward) shape is blue with arc on the green
field.
The middle shape is green with arc on the yellow field. The top (most
backward) shape is blue with arc on the green field.
Between top and lowest arcs are three silver disks - the
bubbles. Under the arc of the middle shape are six tightly
packed disks representing a grape. Above the arc is a stylized
church in silver.

Article10.
[...] The coat of arms is turned right when the flag is hoisted on it
first edge on vertical line. [...]
