Presentation of the municipality

The municipality of Race-Fram was formed in 1995. It is a relatively small municipality located between Ptuj and Maribor, with a main road passing through it between the two main small towns after which the municipality is named.

Description of the flag

The flag and arms of Race-Fram are prescribed by decision Odlok o grbu in zastavi obcine Race-Fram, adopted in 1998 and published in the official local gazette Medobcinski uradni vestnik tajerske in Koroske regije, 10/1998.

The symbols were designed by Valt Jurecic of Heraldika d.o.o. and Heraldica Slovenica, who kindly provided drawings from which the images shown on this page were made.

The flag is rectangular in ratio 2:5, vertically divided white-green-white, the central field being square and containing the castle and grape from the coat of arms.
