Description of the flag

The coat of arms and flag are prescribed by decision Odlok o grbu in zastavi Obcine Gorisnica ), adopted on 30 May 1996, and published in the official Slovene gazette Uradni list Republike Slovenije, nr. 39, pp. 3490-1, 26 July1996, with effect on the same day.

The flag has proportion 1:2, and is yellow with the municipal coat of arms in the middle. The size of coat of the coat of arms is defined as 1/2 the hoist size.

Article 11 of the aforementioned decision prohibits the use of the flag by political parties during election campaign.

Coat of arms

The decision does not include images nor description. It describes the coat of arms as green, with blue diagonal and white part symbolizing a bridge, in upper corner a grape and in lower a wheat ear.
