Presentation of the municipality

The municipality of Divaca was formed in 1995.

Description of the flag

The flag and emblem are mentioned in the municipal statutes Statut Obcine Divaca, adopted on 31 March 1999, and published in the official Slovene gazette Uradni list Republike Slovenije, 39/99.

Images of the flag and emblem are shown on the website of the Divaca brass band, Pihalni orkestar Divaca.

The emblem shows a photograph of a typical rural house in an oval and below the name of the community in wine red in two rows divided with a green line. The emblem is set in the basis of a white flag with a thin green stripe along the edge. The flag seems to be used in various ratios.
