Description of the flag

The flag has been adopted by the parliament of the Vologda region on November 26, 1997 under law number 471. The flag is registered in the register of state under number 226. It is the only flags officially recorded in our area.

In 1992 or 1993 some regions self upgraded to constituent republics, and used ephemeral unofficial flags. One of the main republics was Vologda; flag was vertical yellow - red - white.

I’m sure that this flag is a fiction. I don’t know who is author... It was adopted never and existed never.
