About the flag

Flag: blue over yellow gyronny, with coat of arms in the center. Coat of arms: gueules, a castle or, open and litten in azure, charged in its main tower with the arms of King Sancho I, revised, (a cross of five eschuteons azure, the lateral ones pointing inwards and the central downwards, each charged with a saltire of five bezants argent), under a row of five five-pointed mullets or; mural crown argent, with five visible towers (city rank); collar of the Tower and Sword Order; white scroll at the bottom reading in black uppercase sans serif "CIDADE DE BRAGANÇA".
