Overview

I located a flag at www.morovis.net . This pueblo seems to be an important place to the Taino people (the original inhabitants of Boriken (Puerto Rico). Morovis, also known as 'La Isla menos Morovis' is in north central Puerto Rico, 35 km. southwest of San Juan. It was founded in 1818 and there are 26,516 inh.

Strange. 'La Isla menos Morovis' means 'The Island except Morovis'

Morovis - In a very curious arrangement, the eagle head in the flag is turned hoist-ward ("diestra" - to the right wing) 'in this case'. The eagle looks to its left wing in the shield. No explanation given to this unless we conclude that, in flag design, things should point to the hoist to indicate its obverse arrangement and to the fly in its reverse side.
