On page 202 of Flag Bulletin N° 154 (1993), Alfred Znamierowski describes
8 service flags for Polish government vessels introduced 1967, all white
(2:3) with the state arms placed on a golden anchor in the center; on both
sides of the arms are horizontal stripes in different colours, according
to the service:
dark blue : Navigation Office
yellow : Medical Service vessels
orange : rescue vessels
gray : pilot
vessels
green : customs vessels
red : fire-fighting vessels
black : training ships
violet : icebreakers
