Gdynia corrected flag

The flag I have sent was mistaken. The CoA on Gdynia flag is bigger than I thought. I send a corrected one. I found some information about Gdynia flag in "Bedeker Gdyński" ("Gdynia Baedecker", K. Malkowski, Gdynia 1995):
1.Flag of Gdynia was introduced in Spring of 1994 in a competition. 47 authors sent more than 100 projects. The chosen one was made by Józef Jezierski. The colours of flag were described as white and turquoise (turkusowy).
2.Gdynia had a flag already in October 1974 during an manifestation "Poznaj Kilonię" ("Meet Kiel" - Kiel is Gdynia's sister city), when flags of Kiel and Gdynia were hung in front of Youth Palace in Gdynia. Unfortunately, in this publication this flag isn't described.

Gdynia city flag

[Gdynia city flag] by O. Myszor, 20 Nov 2001

Gdynia: horizontal white-blue-white-blue (70-5-3-32) with the coat of arms in the canton at 50 right from the left side of the flag and 15 down from the top of the flag. The height of the coat of arms is 55. Blue is pantone 2715 CV.
Pascal Vagnat, 19 May 1999

I live in Gdynia, and it is easy to see our flag, especially on City Days (23 Mar - Liberation Day, 10 Feb - City Day). With this mail, I send you a gif with Gdynia flag. It could be some different from real flag, but I think that it is very akin. I don't know yet, what size it is, but I think that 4:7 is the most probable. I'm sure, that the coat of arms doesn't measure a half (55 of 110, as there is written on your page), but only about a 1/4 of flag height. Flag was adopted between 1991 and 1992, and the coat was adopted in 1976, but it was used since 1947. Blue on flag means Baltic Sea. There are a sword and two rapacious fishes on the coat - it means, that Gdynia is sea and navy city (nb., there are Polish Navy HQ here).
