Raba Wyżna commune flag

[Raba Wyzna flag] by Jarig Bakker, 10 Jun 2002

Raba Wyżna is a commune in Nowy Targ county, Malopolskie vojvodship. Its flag and CoA are at this website. The bishop is St Stanislaw (1030-1079), who wakes Piotra from the dead. This saint was also an important symbol of Polish nationhood. (the images on that page are .png files and beautifully done)

According to "Petit Larousse Illustré", St. Stanislaw is the patron saint of Poland. He was Bishop of Cracow from 1072 until his murder by King Boleslaw II, whom he had excommunicated.
