The Paracel Islands, located in the South China Sea (approx. 114°E 15°N), are uninhabited and disputed between the following countries:
As far as I know, no local flags exist, neither in use nor proposed.I used to fly with a U.S.Navy Patrol Squadron and in 1959 they had an occupational force on what we called "Woody Island", which was nothing more than a Sand Spit. The interest in this Area is Oil and lots of it according to informed sources.
