Schermer municipality

Population (1 Jan 2003): 4.861; area: 64,87 km². Settlements: Stompetoren (seat), Driehuizen, Grootschermer, Oterleek, Schermerhorn, Zuidschermer.
The presdent municipality was formed on 1 Aug 1970 by the merger of the former municipalities of Oterleek, Zuid- en Noord Schermer, and Schermerhorn.
As far as is known the municipality does not have a flag.
