Red flag with MoD emblem in the middle and four white five-pointed stars, one in each corner. The MoD emblem consists of white anchor with chain rings falling down towards fly, superimposed over a pair of stylized wings and overall in the middle a five-pointed red-yellow sectored star.

Blue flag with two white large five-pointed stars above a wreath of leaves and flower.
The emblem on this flag is extremely similar (if not the exactly same, actually) with the rank insignia used in ROK Army for the rank of "So-jang" (O-8, Major General). The same emblem, but with stars vertically set due to the space limitations no doubt, is used by the same rank in the ROK Navy (where it is translated as Rear Admiral Upper Half, in conformance with US Navy ranks, I guess). The wreath of leaves and flower are the "National Flower of ROK".
