Description of the flag

White stylized Katakana character of Ka of Kagawa on green field. Green is a colour of prefecture tree olive. Adopted year unknown.

Nozomi Kariyasu - 1998-05-06

Before the current prefectural flag, another flag was in semiofficial use for some time (c. 1975-1977?). Flagmaster reported it in blue but Nozomi has the information and flag was in fact green (seems to be a shade of green olive medium).
