White coat of arms on dull blue field.

Stylized Kanji character SHIN in a diamond shape which has been long believed a symbol of steadiness. The COA represents Shinjuku's will to steadily develop for the future.

Coat of arms adopted 15 March 1967.

Flag unlegislated.
