Jodhpur/Marwar - Former Indian state, now part of Rajasthan state, NW India; 36.120 square miles, capital Jodhpur; region borders on Thar Desert on W, touches Great Rann of Kutch on SW; traversed by Luni river flowing SW; breeds best camels of India.
