Hungarian Danube Police (Rendo''rseg Duna) - The patrol boats
of the Danube Police in Budapest fly the national ensign (without
the coat of arms) and a white pennant charged with a blue
lozenge. The same pennant flies over the main building of the
Police. The blue lozenge is also painted on the hull of the
boats, with a number, also in blue, in the middle. There is no
number on the pennants. Additionaly, the Hungarian Police
(Rendo''rseg) has arms made of a shield with vertical hungarian
colours, charged with golden sword and scales. The arms appear on
Police buildings, vehicles, and uniforms.

There seems to be a non-coincidental similarity between this
pennant and the Croatian River Police
pennant. The Hungarian pennant, however, is not 1:2 in proportion
but rather 3:5 and the shape of its lozenge is different from the
Croatian pennant shown in the Album des Pavillons [pay].

Flaggenbuch [neo92] regarding
to Hungary (pages 177 and 178): Pilot Flag
(Schiffsbegleitungsflagge. Wird von dem geleiteten Schiff am
Bugspriet gesetzt.) - White suqare flag with blue cabled anchor
topped with the St. Stephen's crown in proper colours and with
blue letter K in canton. 80 x 80 (cm?). Anchor size 38 x 28,
letter K sized 15 x 20, width of vertical streak 4 (written
dimmensions, but certainly the image looks as if it is in fact
3).
The previous image of this flag was drawn by me after
description, and is incorrect in several details - most obviously
I made canton blue with white letter.
