Esztergom is located in Komárom-Esztergom County. It was the
capital of the former Esztergom County till 1920 (The northern
part of the county like Komárom county, annexed to
Czechoslovakia by the Treaty of Trianon) and 1938-1944. The
southern part of Esztergom County was unified with the southern
part of Komárom County in 1925. After the Decision of Vienna
(1938) the northern and southern parts of the county united. The
Treaty of Paris (1947) reannexed the northern part of the county
to Czechoslovakia. Southern parts of the counties was unified
again. Between 1950-1992 the name of the county was: Komárom
County

I saw 5 flags in Esztergom in summer, and I saw them today
again. They are:
The Hungarian National flag
The red-white stripes like the 1941 Historical
Flag - the light red is the correct version.
The red-white stripes with the CoA of Esztergom (see above)
A white flag with the old Hungarian CoA (Árpád Stripes) (see:
Flags in use)
A white flag with the old Hungarian CoA (The Silver Cross on the
Green Hills) (see: Flags in use)
I haven't got more informations.
