Delnice is a city with somewhat more then 6000 inhabitants
some 30 km due east of Rijeka in Gorski Kotar and it is today the
most important city in that mountainious region, no doubt because
it is situated on the road Zagreb-Rijeka.
The coat of arms is: Azure a man standing on a mount vert propped
a scite proper. The man is clead in local garment - white shirt,
golden rimmed black waistcoat, green trousers and with a black
hat with golden ribbon. The coat of arms originates probably from
18th century. It is shown, e.g. in Zmajicic's 1971 book [zma71].
The flag is unknown to me. Both the flag and the modern design of
the CoA must have been adopted around 1995.
