Overview

The coat of arms of Kanfanar is Azure Saint Sophia stantant clead Gules and haloed Or holding in each hand a fortified city of the last windowed of the second. The Saint is the city patron and she holds the two cities remembering the nearby ruined city of Dvigrad (literally: Double City) from which the modern town was developed.
The flag is blue with the coat of arms in the middle.
