Gaz Atlantique

[Gaz Atlantique]by Ivan Sache

Gaz Atlantique is a shipping company based in Marseilles. This company is specialized in transport of gaz and oil.
Gaz Atlantique was a subsidiary of Worms, which sold it in 1997 to Financière Neptune. The company owns six ships and employs 120 seamen. It is part of the Fouquet Sacap group.

The house flag of Gaz Atlantique shows the blue cross of Marseilles on a white disc on a white flag. On the small image used as the source for the above image, the main field seems to be light grey. However, I have interpreted the flag as plain white with a blue fimbriation around the central disk.

Gaz Océan

[Gaz Ocean]by Ivan Sache

Gaz Océan was based in Bois d'Arcy, near Versailles. Gaz Océan moved to Marseilles in 1997 and it is possible that Gaz Océan was then renamed Gaz Atlantique.

The houseflag of Gaz Océan is dark blue with a white fish outlined in black and spitting fire.
