The banner of arms of the traditional province of Berry can sometimes be seen in the department (Sancerre, Bourges, etc...)
The department has no official coat of arms and never had any.

The General Council uses as flag its logo on a white field, but there is only one or two flags manufactured and they are only used on special events or by associations which want to be represented by the flag.
