Overview

Adopted: 29 November 1993. Illuka is a rural municipality (vald) in Ida Virumaa County (Maakond).

Illuka vald - All symbols are connected to the Estonian epic hero Kalevipoeg. Red color and sword refer to the killing of Kalevipoeg in the borders of today's municipality. Crown symbolizes his govern.
