Horizontal black-dark red bicolor. In use by 1848. Officially adopted 1896. Continued in use [after 1918] until 1935. Readopted as Landesflagge of the State of Württemberg-Hohenzollern c.1947. Abolished as a result of the merger into Baden-Württemberg 25 April 1952.
