Source: Lupant 1993 [and/or Lupant 1995a]. Is pictured and [a] photocopied photo is added, primary source is Gerd Stolz Geschi[ch]te der Polizei Schleswig-Holstein[s] (1978) and photo and letter from Mad. Barbara Konze, Innerminister des Landes Schleswig-Holstein. But you are right about points of star: must be 12. I used a templ[a]te of eight point[s] for several police stars and I used it by mistake in this image.

Square green flag with double border (the image is without a border but I believe that the border is white (inside) and blue (outside). In the center is a stylized argent police star (similar to a flower) of 10 points and within it the Schleswig Holstein shield.
Jaume Ollé (?), 1 September 1998
The Verordnung zur Durchführung des Gesetzes über die Hoheitszeichen des Landes Schleswig-Holstein (Regulation on the Implementation of the Act on Symbols of the State of Schleswig-Holstein) of 10th August 1957, published in the Gesetz- und Verordnungsblatt für Schleswig-Holstein (Schleswig-Holstein Acts and Regulations Bulletin), 1957, p. 105-109, mentions a Polizeistandarte (police standard) that may be used by the Minister of the Interior or the ministerial director in the Ministry of the Interior as a car flag. There is no picture of it, though. The description is rather vague, "Die Polizeistandarte zeigt auf grünem Grund den Polizeistern mit dem Landeswappen (the police standard shows on a green field the police star with the state coat-of-arms).
