"Comité d'action francophone Pontiac" has registered the Franco-Pontissois flag (Public registry of Canadian arms, flags and insigna, volume IV, p.74).
The flag is horizontally divided green-white-red. A yellow stripe stretching out over 40% of the flag width is placed along the hoist. The yellow stripe is charged with three green maple leaves. The white stripe is charged with four blue fleur-de-lys placed horizontally.
The green-white-red stripes recall the flag used by the Patriotes.
The three green maple leaves are taken from the arms of Quebec.
The four fleur-de-lys are also a symbol of Quebec.
