The flag is green, divided into eight parts by stripes in cross and in saltire equally
divided white, yellow, blue, yellow, and white, with a white central rectangle overall bearing
the city coat of arms. Proportions are 14:20 units, the white rectangle measuring 4.5 units high
by 6 units wide, and the stripes of the cross and saltire 1.5 units in width, divided into
five equal parts. As usual, the coat of arms represents the municipal government, the white
rectangle the city where it has its seat, the green field the rural territories of the municipality,
and the lines emanating from the center the municipal power extending throughout the municipality.
The green field also symbolizes agriculture.
