Description of the flag

Paliseul (5,000 inhabitants) is located in the arrondissement of Neufchâteau. Paliseul means "Little palace", namely of the Austrasian kings, the eastern dominions of the Merovingian Franks, extending from the Meuse river to the Bohemian forest.

The flag is: Quarterly, I and IV Azure, a tower Argent, II and III Gules, a fess Argent. Proportions are 2:3.
