Description of the flag

Tongeren is the capital city of the arrondissement of Tongeren.

The flag is: Party per pale Azure and Argent, in the canton a swan Argent, with around its neck a crown Or. Proportions are 2:3.

The flag was adopted on 18 December 1990.
